Magdalena Pacana was born in Dębica, Poland. She graduated from Łódź Film School in 2002 with a degree in photography. She had her debut exhibition in ZPAF Gallery, Kraków 2002, and the same year she received a scholarship for the arts from the Kraków city government. In 2003 she became a member of the Union of Polish Art Photographers, and is now a member of the board in Kraków.
In 2003 Magda began her career as a freelance photographer working with Wysokie Obcasy, the weekly magazine edition of the national newspaper, Gazeta Wyborcza, a relationship that continues to today. Her specialty is interior photography, and her editorial clients include Dobre Wnętrze, Dom & Wnętrze, M jak Mieszkanie, amongst many others. Her work as a professional photographer has led to her second passion, as an interior stylist and decorator, and is herself responsible for preparing the interiors for her photo-shoots.
Magda lives in Kraków, Poland, and her work takes her throughout Poland, and abroad as well.
